I’m either a makeup hoarder or a collector but I’m also certainly a makeup enthusiast who has the biggest passion for eyeshadow palettes (like many whose names I shall keep for myself 😜). Along the way, I’ve accumulated a certain amount of them, with some shame. I even have palettes that I’ve never used before and have for quite awhile (I know, I know!). So for the next 16 8 weeks I will use 8 palettes (that I haven’t TOUCH for a long time or never) and exclusively use each one for 2 1 week (No adding extra eyeshadows, pinky swear!). After 14 7 days, I’ll share with you my “love meter” and really decide if I keep it or give it away … Throwing away makeup or anything for that matter is disgusting to me, I much prefer giving it away and let someone else enjoy it while it’s still good (makeup doesn’t last forever, unfortunately!) …
I think this idea is really fun; it will force me to create new looks and hopefully get out of my “warm neutral” comfort zone! Don’t laugh but I’m crazy about palettes I barely touched; just looking at them makes me happy. (Oh! man I’m a weirdo).
So here are the 8 eyeshadow palettes that I will used. Some were limited editions and I will still talk about them because you could still easily find them on makeup sites that offer “gently used” items or on sale somewhere. Some palettes I may have talked about in the past, so it will be fun to see if my initial thoughts are still accurate.
Guys, I would like it so much if some of you who own one (or all) of these palettes would, at the same time, do the 2 1 week one palette kind of challenge with me….
Meet my “8” :
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna palette (Starting this saturday!!!)
2. Cargo Northern Lights palette
3. Sephora + Pantone Universe Radiant Femme Artistry Set
4. Smashbox On The Rocks palette
5. Too Faced Everything Nice (That’s what pretty girls are made of)
6. Laura Mercier Smokey Eye palette
7. Kat Von D Star Studded Eyeshadow Book palette
8. Pixi Early bird palette
Hummm! That will be interesting (and challenging in a way) to be 16 weeks without touching my ultimate favourite palettes … I already have nightmares so let’s do this for 8 weeks. Now you understand all the changes at the beginning of this post. (Bahaha!)
Love you my beauties
Already regretting Ingrid xoxo

That’s a great way to clean up your stash!
This is why I’m not a fan of large palettes, I know myself – I never end up reaching for them. The most I can really handle in a palette is probably 5 shades – the odds are, I will end up liking and using at least 3 shades in them.
It’ll be interesting to see what your results are!
