*** (Snif! Snif! Snif!) Today is my final collab with such an amazing beauty blogger and good friend Sharon (Sharon beauty prime) – for this summer that is 😉 ***
Blushes, where do I start! I used to forget about putting on blushes on a daily basis, that was just not my thing; but now I’m such a blush girl you have no idea.
So here are my favourite ones for May :
1.Stila convertible color in Petunia
If you haven’t yet fell on the Stila cream blush band wagon you are so missing out. I love this shade; the Petunia color can look intense but it is sheer and so natural looking, such a pretty peachy/pink healthy glow. I use it with my 3$ e.l.f small tapered brush, sometimes I even add another powder blush on top for more pizzazz.
Personnal Note: It takes such a little amount of product, you really don’t need the full size (25$). Stila has come up with 2 sets of 3 deluxe size convertible colors at Ulta: Blooming Bright Convertible Color Trio & Beauty in Bloom Convertible Color Trio (20$ each) and the oh! most beautiful palette “Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip & Cheek Palette” (49$). These are better options! (more frugal)
2.Tarte amazonian clay 12-hour blush in Magic
Magic is a really beautiful coral-pink that is super wearable for everyday. A very natural blush shade that seems to mesh with any kind of makeup look you might be wearing. The color is very rich (Tarte makes one of the most pigmented blush of the industry) and I just love the way it looks on the cheeks.
Personnal Note: This blush came in a set but watch for Tarte blushes during the Christmas period because each year, they come with a sublime blush palette at an affordable price (considering the amount).
3. bareMinerals blush in Vintage Peach
Vintage Peach is again a peachy-rosy (I guess this is the theme of day). The thing I like about this one is that it is quite subtle and a nice coral shade. I would say it is much more coral than ‘peach’. Yes, it is quite sparkly, almost having a classy glittery look to it and I love it for spring …
Personnal Note: On a budget, since they are loose powders and there is a lot (I mean a lot) in a regular pot, bare Minerals blushes are easy to separate among friends…
