URBAN DECAY Vice 4 & Spectrum (Will I buy these two palettes ?!!)

Urban Decay Vice 4 & Spectrum

Urban Decay Holiday 2015

Here we are: the brand new & much anticipated Vice 4 palette will be released on Urban Decay’s website  on September 12, followed by the usual makeup spots like Sephora, Macy’s and Ulta … Already, lucky BeautyBloggers and YouTubers (who had the chance to receive the product as press samples) are showing us the new goodies!!! My first impressions: I want everything!! I mean, I want them NOW!!! All these bright colors, super pigmented formulas and for the announced price, let’s face it, this is an amazing value … The bummer is the 100$ question: How much will I really use these palettes on a day to day basis – I know, I know… don’t throw rocks at me, because I’m bursting your bubble. I have already many of these bright colourful palettes in my collection and the reality is that they are just collecting dust and looking pretty. Should I look at it differently and be inspired by these “Jewel” shades and stop being so neutral? Could I be brave enough and go out of my confort zone to wear “Green” to work? My head is spinning because I think UD Vice 4 is soooooo pretty. (You know *wink wink 😉* Limited Edition become sold out so fast).

🎀 Now Available on Urban Decay’s website 60$US 🎀

Now, onto Urban Decay Spectrum palette. Since I already own a few of these shades already, I’ll let this one go. If you are new to UD, this one should be a winner since it’s beautiful and let’s face it, the brand is best known for their vibrant eyeshadows!!!

There is also 5 new permanent 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencils (Legend, Push, Rail, Mood and Street)I LOVE (Totally Holy Grail status) their regular 24/7 eye pencil but, unfortunately, the few reviews available on these new ones are not that good. It wouldn’t be the Holiday season without some highlights and glimmers so UD launched a new Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body in the shade Lit .

  1. Oh I love the look of these 🙂 Very pretty indeed.
Not sure I would purchase them though, I prefer my neutral shades and am pretty sure I would just look at these palettes in stead of using them… I get the problem though, evil makeup companies and their amazing fall collections.

  2. These palettes are so pretty to LOOK at but not to actually use. I mean, like you said, just how many pink / teal / purple looks are you going to be sporting on a day to day basis? I also find the Vice palette to be so MASSIVE. They don’t need ALL that space between the columns of eye shadows. #nitpicking

    1. You are so welcome !!! It’s so funny because unanimously everyone love the Spectrum more and I’m all about Vice 4 😉 I’m with you the best is to get both !!! 😀
      Thanks for stopping by ☀️

    1. I’m exactly like you Laura, I don’t own any “Vice” palettes!!! I’m still so tempted even if I know I won’t use it 😦
The “Spectrum” palette has better reviews than the “Vice 4” !!! You tell me if you end up buying the “Spectrum” 😀

      1. Of course!! It’ll probably get to my later than everyone else (I live on an island that doesn’t always get releases!)
My trick for urban decay palettes is if there’s a colour you want so bad and are considering the whole palette for the one colour, see if they sell it on its own, and if not find a dupe! Thats what I did with the Smoked (not smoky, the older one!) palette. I loved it but didn’t know if I’d use all the colours. So I bought the 2 that I wanted individually! Love!
