My Christmas Wish List “Xmas” Blog | December 16

When Christmas time is approaching, I tend to think about what I would like to have. I fantasize about my career, my bank account and my life in general. I dream of better things and my mind escapes to a superb vacation in a world made of fantasy and where dreams do come true (I know, this place exists and it’s called Walt Disney World). However, for those like me, who have to stay home during the Holidays, our mind gets a good reality check, and you start to wander about possible gifts that you might get for Christmas. To help for the shopping spree, our families always suggest to make wish lists. I always think that a wish list is exciting to do because it lets you dream about things that I will probably never receive (I do pray a lot though!!!). It must be a sign that I have too many beauty products since I had to really think a long time to find new articles that I would like to add to my collection (Scary is in it ?!!!)

So with no further ado this is THE list …

I cannot believe that I’m saying this but I really don’t want anything … other than maybe a Viseart Neutral Mattes eyeshadow palette 😜👍🏻. I think that any makeup lover at some point wants to try one of these, to really see if it’s that good! This year, Urban Decay’s Naked Vault would be a dreamy present since I don’t own any Naked palette (I know that you just fell off your chair). Since this vault is nowhere to be found, my expectations are quite low! I’ve lust over this Nars Steven Klein Collaboration One Shocking Moment Cheek Palette since its debut in October but I need some bronzer & blushes like someone needs a third toothbrush or a fourth toaster… (If anybody reads this, it’s just a wish!!)

Any one in this selection and I would be over the moon. My all-time favourite perfumes are Prada “Candy” & all Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanilla perfumes. But then again, why on Earth do I have a full counter of random perfumes that will take  me about 5 years to finish and none of my preferred brands are in there …

Skin Care

I’ve been wanting to try Ren Skin Care products for a while now, more so when my friend Jodi from A Brash Attitude rave about them. I’ve got two samples of Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil and this stuff blew me away. It does work so great! I think about adding it to my wish list but again, my inventory is so full right now, getting another skin care product would surely mean that it will go down in the pecking order and I want to finish the products I have right now !

Hiking Clothes

If you don’t already know, I’m an avid hiker (at least I try to be). Nothing makes me happier than discovering a new hiking trail. I’m fully equipped (from top to bottom, from boots to hat or cap). The problem is that I’ve put some weight back and nothing fits anymore. Last summer, I was so stubborn about the whole thing and didn’t want to buy larger size of everything, that I hiked with sweats and non-hiking garments. I basically looked like a clown or a tourist who got lost on a trail. So this year, even if it makes me puke that I have to buy new clothes (when I already have boxes of very expensive technical hiking sportwear), I need to invest. At least, a larger size will still fit me WHEN I loose the pounds!   Thank god my feet didn’t get bigger 🙂

Since I’ve been blogging, all I ever use to take my pictures is my iPod Touch. I really think that since it’s now obvious that blogging is a really fun hobby, I want to step up the quality of my photos. Vlogging is also something I would like to do in the future. I would also like to touch other subjects: Nature and Lifestyle will take a more important place in my little blogging world in the coming year. And sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Don’t get me wrong, I will always be a makeup junkie but it is hard to be creative and just write on the beauty stuff. I have other passions and I would like to share them with you…

Nothing crazy right !!!

Ingrid so wise now

  1. Yesssssss you should totally vlog! I would be your biggest fan! As for your perfume collection, don’t buy any more perfume just cause it’s on sale. Instead, save up the money that you would spend on affordable perfumes and buy one large bottle of something you love!

      1. Whatever. You know, I used to feel that way until one day I just made myself do it. Sure, I made fun of myself for waddling across the screen but if I can do it, you can do it!

    1. Do you think Olympus is better than your previous Canon ?
Like I was telling Stashy, on Cyber Monday in the States they had all Viseart palettes for 55$US !!! (It hurts when we have to pay 100$CND + taxes)

      1. I prefer Olympus since it can capture wider image up close. Canon is also a good brand that I’ve been using for quite sometime. Actually Sony Cybershot was my top fav until I changed to Canon then Olympus.
Agreed, the exchange rate is seriously impacting purchases. Heard CND$ is US$1 to CND$1.40 today.

  2. I’m always so surprised how many bloggers just use their phones to take pictures! I want that Viseart palette TOO!
I have Prada Candy perfume and I love it! I was so surprised how nice it smells, especially after it dries down a little.

    1. What do you use for your pictures ?
On Cyber Monday in the States the Viseart palettes were 55$US 😦 (1/2 price from us)
I won’t be smelling like Prada Candy in 2016 since I really have to finish the 12 bottles (I counted them) that I already have !!!

      1. I use a Canon point and shoot (don’t remember the model#), I really like it.
With our exchange rate, everything is so expensive! I’m not even sure if I’ll get the Viseart next year… I don’t NEED it, and I know I won’t use ALL the colours in the palette.
Aww I don’t have too many perfumes but yes they take a while to finish up!
