Arbonne Lipsticks ❥❥ Love is in the Air

I was jumping up and down when I received these two Arbonne lipticks (Guava & Currant). Dream, the shade I owned for a while now, has been on my lips every day. Paired with my Buxom lipgloss in the color Katie, this combination have been my go-to look recently. It’s definetely a match made in heaven and during this Valentine’s Day week, it’s the perfect time to talk about dynamic duos, kissable lips and red coloured elements…!

I’ve reviewed Arbonne lipsticks before (link), but since I just got my hands on additional shades, and that I still have a long list of colours I’m dying to try, let’s get on with those new tints, perfect for your everyday makeup, all year long.

 Arbonne Lipsticks (Guava & Currant)

I personnaly think that Arbonne’s products are so very underrated! To tell you the truth, if the company hadn’t reached me and graciously sent a lip kit (lip liner, lipgloss & lipstick) months ago, their wonderful products would still be totally unknown to me and I would be unaware of the company altogether 😢!! Very sad but true …

Why am I so excited? Simply because I’m so hard to please when it comes to lipstick. I have some very strict needs to fulfill and if not met, I look elsewhere! And I must say that Arbonne has a perfect report card; they are outstanding in every category.

Here are my criteria for choosing my lip products: First, lipsticks have to smell good (back in the days, they almost all smelled like urine!! Gross, I know but the fact is that they were mostly made with pregnant mare urine)!!! Second, it needs a moisturizing formula. I always have dry lips (from the weather and dehydration), and I cannot stand to have a dry lipstick that emphasizes any of my dry spots.Third, if the formula makes my lips bleed, it’s a total no-no since I just don’t like to line my lips that much. Fourth, I hate a lipstick that get patchy when it wears off. Fifth I’m slowly transitioning to cruelty-free when it comes to my beauty products. I’m using up my actual stash but my goal for 2016 is to purchase only cruelty-free skincare, body care & haircare products, same thing for makeup brushes. Bonus point if a product is also vegan !!!

♥ No wonder why I LOVE Arbonne lipsticks so much: ♥

They smell like sweet cotton-candy,

They are one of the smoothest, hydrating formula I’ve ever tried,

They don’t bleed whatsoever outside my lips, even without a lip liner,

The color wears off so nicely. It stains my lips a little bit and the fading is very gradual; it doesn’t leave you with an inside rim (we all hate this right?!?),

Vegan & Cruelty-Free. Thanks Arbonne for caring!!!

Honestly I’m so impressed with all their products so far that I’m now very intrigued about the rest of their makeup line (and believe me, it is quite exhaustive). I’m thinking of delaying my 2016 Low-Buy just to get a few more items from Arbonne’s catalogue…

Valentine’s Day is suppose to be about professing your love. I guess that it’s the perfect moment to say to Arbonne: I love, loVE, LOVE your lipsticks & lipglosses!!!

Thanks for stopping by my beauties

  1. I love Arbonne products! My aunt used to sell them and I’ve had loads of their products.. Their eyeshadow is very pigmented too.. Their facial masks are great but maannn.. They are pricey!! 🙈

  2. Really? Pregnant mare urine in lipsticks? *vomit* What was the reasoning for that?!
Arbonne is one of those brands I’d like to try, but I’m worried I’ll like their stuff because it’s pricey. 😛
