Mac Must-Haves ❥ Contour & Sculpt Yourself Palette

Mac Contour & Sculpt Yourself Palette

This Mac Contour & Sculpt Yourself Palette is not just a must-have, it’s a makeup masterpiece, a powdery miracle, that everyone should have in their collection, if you are a right fit that is… It’s so good that this gem is now my new reference on which I evaluate all future acquisitions. This palette has been on my wish-list the moment it came out! Since I’ve been wanting Emphasize (Off white with fine pearl Shaping Powder) & Peaches (Pure Peach Blush) for such a long time, the moment I saw that both were included in this palette, it became a no brainer.

Let’s just do my usual review and you’ll be the judge if it’s the palette you’ve been looking for your whole life …

Mac Contour & Sculpt Yourself Palette

Contour & Sculpt Yourself Palette is perfect for contouring, highlighting and bronzing to give you bone structure worthy of a supermodel. It’s a versatile, refillable, all-in-one palette featuring a Shaping Powder, Sculpting Powder and four Powder Blushes in Satin, Sheertone and Sheertone Shimmer textures.

♥ Great value!!! Here is the break down:

Pro Palette Large 10$

Pro Palette Blush x 6 (Insert) 3$

Powder Blush (Pro Palette Refill Pan) 4 x 21$ = 84$

Shaping Powder (Pro Palette) 20.50$

Sculpting Powder (Pro Palette) 20.50$

Total Value: 138$ – Such a great bang for your buck over purchasing those items separately.

♥ A fair to Light-Medium skin tone dream. Every color is beautiful on my pale skin (no dud to report!!!).

♥ This is a refillable palette.

♥ Great for traveling.

♥ Since everything comes wrapped individually & full-sized, it’s not a pre-made palette of lesser quality like we usually see, like those palettes offered as Holiday Specials!

More on each product:

Emphasize (Off white with fine pearl): this is such a beautiful color, perfect for highlighting and under eye setting. It goes on so soft and has such a wonderful, pearly, clean, illuminating finish without the glitters and shimmers (Doesn’t “emphasize” my fine lines or my skin’s imperfections).

MAC Emphasize

Sculpt (Soft taupe matte): this is a pro product available in refill only. This powder is completely matte and smooth. It’s a light soft brown with a tinge of grey. Perfect for any skin tone from fair to medium. It’s not too grey that it wouldn’t be flattering on warmer skin tones and so brown that it would look muddy on cooler tone. I use it often to bronze my face and it’s surprisingly dazzling!

MAC Sculpt

Peaches (Pure peach- Sheertone): I really like this blush. It is a matte, true peach colour. It is a Sheertone formula so you can apply in a single thin layer or build it up for a more intense colour. This blush is a nice soft texture without being powdery or chalky! On my very pale skin, it gives a natural flush to my cheeks.

MAC Peaches

Sunbasque (Gilded peach with pearl – Sheertone Shimmer): Sunbasque is a peach-pink colour with a hint of gold. A little goes a long way with this colour, and only a slight dusting on the cheeks will provide you with a beautiful glow. This blush looks slightly bronze in the pan, however on the skin, it provides a natural magnificent sunkissed radiance rather than a bronze look, as the peachy-pink is very apparent.

MAC Sunbasque

Trace Gold (Gold with shimmer – Sheertone Shimmer): I actually struggled to describe Trace Gold; is it a blush, highlighter or bronzer? For me, it’s a combination of all three, and, for that matter, I really enjoy using it. In the pan, it looks like a brown with plenty of gold shimmer. However it’s not super-shimmery – the gold acts like a glow, catching the light at certain angles.

MAC Trace Gold

Note: Trace gold is something that I would have probably never given a second look at the Mac store. I would have been missing out so much…

Fleur Power (Soft bright pinkish/coral – Satin): It’s an excellent everyday blush with all-day staying power, and I’d even go so far as to call it universally flattering. The color is  fairly neutral pink– neither too cool nor too warm. It’s perfect! A must have …

MAC Fleur power

Note: Definitely use a light hand applying, it is SO pigmented. This blush will last a lifetime…

MAC Swatches Contour & Scuplt Yourself Palette

♥ Doesn’t apply to me but I understand why my darker skinned friends would totally not enjoy this palette. I think it’s more suited for fair to medium skin tone!!! Since the products are all full-sizes and come individually, Mac should have let customer choose between different shades in their collection!!! Just saying ….

I couldn’t be happier with this Mac Contour & Sculpt Yourself Palette. It fits my everyday needs, all the products are truly stunning. Exquisite formulas all across the board. What can I say; I’m smitten with all these gorgeous powders. Having all superstar products in one value palette, I’m a happy camper and will be for a very long time. Don’t think twice and grab this classic treasure while it’s still available …

Thanks for stopping by my beauties!

  1. So you bought it! 😛
I have the Sculpt powder in the Maleficent compact, hehe. I wanted to have the sculpted cheekbones of Angelina Jolie.
Sheertone blushes are so nice – one of the best powders on the market!
I’ve wanted Fleur Power and Peaches blushes for a while now. Hmmm you tempt me, once again! My $50 monthly makeup budget doesn’t allow for this though! 😦
Know what, I saw the Anastasia cream highlight / contour palette at Winners last week! It was $40. 😮

    1. At your Winners you have ABH ! 😳 (Did you buy it???) In my area we only have crappy old products 😦
This MAC palette was a gift from Beard Man 😉 I truly love it, every powder is beautiful and very wearable on a daily basis. Such a GREAT BUY ! What’s your March budget ???

      1. No I didn’t buy it. I have no need for a highlight / sculpt palette. But yes, I did a double take when I saw the brand name.
What a nice gift from BM. 😀
My March budget is also $50. For Feb I’ve used $40 out of my $50 now… maybe I will just save the $10 from Feb for March. 😛

      2. You really need this MAC palette ! Save my dear 💵, it’s so worth it 😀
I have no use for the ABH cream contour palette either!!!
How do you love the Ombre Rouge palette? Was I right????

      3. I just used the palette ONCE so it’s premature to form an opinion. The formula is DIVINE though. I shall reserve a review until I’ve used all the shades! 😉
I really really do not NEED this MAC palette! I could just buy the 2 blush refill pans I really wanted and save $$$ that way?
