Since my love for eyeshadows in general but mainly in palettes form is legendary , I couldn’t pass “PART 2” of this popular Perfect Palette TAG that was created a few years ago by the Mother & Daughter duo, Melissa & Kate from ILUVFACES 1042.
Here was the questions from the original Perfect Palette Tag:
PERFECT PALETTE TAG :
1. Best Packaging
2. Best Color Payoff
3. Most Versatile
4. Best for Traveling
5. Biggest Regret
6. Best Color Names
7. Least Used
8. Most Used, Most Loved, Desert Island
Let’s dive in this brand new version …
❀ Perfect Palette Tag 2 ❀
1. Eyeliner, brush or nothing (included in the palette)
I really prefer a palette with no fuss in the packaging. It take space for nothing and let’s be honest the brushes included are rarely very useful anyway and I don’t like when they put some random eyeliner in an all eyeshadow palette.
2. A palette you have hit pan on
That’s such a good one. Really ! If you know me at all, you know that with the amount of palettes that I own there is almost no chance of me hitting pan anytime soon. To answer this question I can tell you that the palette that has some major dent is surprisingly my favorite from last summer: Lise Watier Rivage (Summer 2015)
3. Favorite “naked” palette
Easy, I don’t own any Urban Decay’s Naked palette. At this point I’m waiting for UD to re-released the Naked Vault Volume II and buy them all at the same time !!!. I still will answer this question that was more geared towards “naked”type palette. No surprise to anyone if I choose the Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette. This beauty contains all the “naked” shades anyone could possibly want.
4. Favorite holiday or limited edition palette
I feel head over heals in love with this past Christmas (2015) MAKE UP FOR EVER 15 Artist Shadow palette. MUFE Artist shadows are one of the best formula out there. I also love the range of wearable colors, although there is not one matte eyeshadow they almost all transfers semi-matte on my eyelids.
5. A palette you would repurchase or wish you had a backup (if it is no longer available)
Laura Mercier Nude Smoky Eye Palette is one of my favorite palette of all time and I do have a backup of it. One word: Classy !!! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I wish LM eyeshadows had more hype since they are so easy and lovely to use.
6. A shade you wish was sold individually
Easy ! Too Faced Peanut Butter that is originally include in the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar but that is also be featured in the Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly palette (Available at Ulta).
7. Wild card (pick a question from the original Perfect Palette Tag to answer again)
❀ I chose : Least Used
Beard Man bought it almost one year ago the Lorac Pro 2 and I still haven’t touch it. Right there a sign that I have a few to many eyeshadows already.
8. The palette you would recommend to a friend
Let me think about this one a little bit ….Hummm! The most universally flattery palette that is almost a sure bet is Tarte Tartelette. It’s one of the few palette that is enjoyable to beginners as much as for the pros out there. So many looks can be achieve with this favorite palette.
Ok my friends , I want to read your answers on this one.
