Around Christmas time, I won this Lash & Brow Enhancing Serum from the beautiful Victoria from Living Disrobed. After my initial reactions of surprise and exhilaration (I won, I won!!), I was very intrigued by this product. If you are not familiar with the Plume brand, it’s because they used to be Nuvalash (as shown in my pictures)…
For starters, let’s just say that my younger 15 year old self was really into tweezers; I mean “taking off half of my eyebrows” addiction. Thin brows used to be trendy (for 1 hot minute) and at that time, the popular belief was that they would grow back … Wrong! They didn’t!!! If there is a lesson to learn here, is to always start by seeking professional advices to help shaping your brows. Thank goodness, I’ve develop some skills over the years to make my few brows look amazing and as natural as pencil, pomade, brow powder, tinted gel + wax can look…
Since I have never try any lash and brow enhancing serum, I truly didn’t know what to expect but at least, I was confident that I wouldn’t go blind or anything since this product is all natural. Nevertheless, my fearful side made me decide to play it safe, so I chose to focus on my eyebrows to test this product, instead of my lashes! Though to write posts when you’re blind or with such lush lashes that you can’t see in front of you (joke!)… Three months has now passed using the Plume Serum on a daily basis, so is it fab or fad ???
Plume’s proprietary plant-derived formula has a three-part-effect on the appearance of your lashes and brows:
Hydration: Nourishes follicles to strengthen the root of each hair
Longevity: Moves hair follicles from a resting phase into a prolonged growth phase
Protection: Anti-oxidants protect delicate hairs from environmental stress – like the sun
Our Serum is like green juice for your eyes, just don’t drink it.
Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Hormones and Prostaglandins, Artificial fragrances, Artificial dyes, Gluten, toxic ingredients of any kind.
How to Use:
Apply Plume Lash & Brow Enhancing Serum before bed (and/or in the morning), using the applicator brush directly onto the root of clean lashes the same way you would apply eyeliner. Allow 6 to 8 weeks for maximum results.
On the Plume website: 95$🇺🇸 for 5.0 ml
♥ It doesn’t get more natural than this:
FULL LIST OF INGREDIENTS
Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Organic Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Tussilago Farfara (Coltsfoot) Flower Extract, Achillea Millefolium (Yarrow) Extract, Cinchona Succirubra Bark Extract, Water, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Glycerin, Honey Extract, Prunus Amygdalus (Sweet Almond) Oil, Sucrose Laurate, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Nasturtium Officinale (Watercress) Extract, Tropaeolium Majus (Indian Cress) Extract, Xanthan Gum, Coleus Forskohlii Root Oil, Carya Ovata (Hickory) Bark Extract.
♥ No side effect, no redness
Note: I’ve tried it on my lashes just for a couple of days, just to see if I would have some irritation, but happily, none occurred.
♥ It does work!!! My brows are fuller (I now have brows like Ernest Borgnine) and I’ve seen hair that I butchered 20 years ago starting to grow again. Joking aside, it really does a fabulous job …
♥ This product is proudly made in Canada
♥ It’s a bit pricey but the results are quite impressive.
Let’s be clear, I may not look like Cara Delavigne or Brooke Shields (for my older readers) but I swear my “naked” eyebrows are looking so much better. I don’t notice any holes anymore. Now that I’ve witness all the benefits it provides, I’m anxious to try this product on my lashes too.
Note: The last month or so, I’ve been applying the serum at night and in the morning … An update will be added if one morning I wake up with a mono brow (or a synophrys in medical term)! You now can say that CurlySpringBlossom has a educational purposes!!
Thanks again my dear Victoria xxx
