Ingrid’s Weekly Recap & My Love List

My weekly Recap Curly Spring Blossom April 2016

My weekly recap decided to spend a few weeks on vacation but, for good reasons since I’m trying to do a million things at once (mostly changing stuff and developing new habits in my life)! My blogging schedule will be changing too: I really want to create two posts per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and keep writing my weekly recap, my favorite post of the week… The big change starting this week will be that Tuesdays will be all about beauty/makeup but Thursdays will be lifestyle related (totally non-beauty whatsoever). If somehow, I find additional time in my hectic agenda, I would to make a third post but no pressure …

My Favorite Posts’ Subjects ❥ 2016

It’s certainly not because I have a beauty blog that all my interests are  beauty-related. In fact, I’m interested in a lot of things that doesn’t involve makeup or skincare !

The Eyeshadow Junkie Tag ❥ 2016 Edition

Being the crazy eyeshadow addict that I am, it’s not unusual for me to do this tag, as I would write about shadows all the time. The real shocker is that I still haven’t bought an eyeshadow palette this year! Then again, don’t be sad, I already have so many to play with, I just get to know them better instead of looking at them, scattered everywhere in my bathroom…

♥ My Favorite YouTube Video of the Week ♥

I’ve told you in my Favorite Posts’ Subjects that I’ve been devouring a multitude of videos, posts and books focused on motivation. This particular one hit me big time this week since I can relate so much.

♥ Obsession of the Week ♥

Wild Friends Cinnamon Raison  Peanut Butter

It’s ridiculous how good this peanut butter is; you need to try one of their nut butter.

Note: I bought mine at my local healthy store for 8$

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

I’ve said it again and again that Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector has the best formula out there but for me, it’s almost too pigmented. Weirdly enough, I found ways to play with them lately by using just tiny bits of it. This new collab face palette with Miss Hill is gorgeous and surprisingly, it come at an amazing value …

Note: Personally, I won’t buy this face palette mainly because I bought the UD+Gwen Stefani one that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE so much, this new one looks too much like the UD+GS collab. Furthermore, I still have a few spare palettes to try and just one face to try them on 🙂

The Breakdown in Canadian dollar: Price = 59$ (Value of 128.74$!!!)

This palette contains:
♥ 2 x 0.19 oz Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed highlighter shades in Champagne Pop (soft white gold with pinky peach undertones), Prosecco Pop (medium warm gold)

Value:  62.42$
♥ 2 x 0.12 oz Mineral Blush in Amaretto (matte toasted almond), Pamplemousse (matte warm coral pink)

Value: 46.80$
♥ 0.10 oz Luminous Blush in Rosé Spritz (soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer)

Value: 19.52$

Total Value: 128.74$

  1. This is one of my favorite posts that you do 🙂 I love seeing what you’ve been loving, and I particularly look forward to seeing your favorite YouTube video and/or lifestyle bits! So I for one am really excited about the new blog schedule change! I agree about the blush palette, though. Ever since I started trying to project pan one of my elf blushes it’s really given my some perspective as to how long the darn things last! So I’m actually trying to work my way through a lot of my blushes and use them up before I buy any more.

    1. It will sound weird, but I’m over buying a ton of makeup … I’ve kind of lost interest !!!
My life is somewhere else these days, I need to focus on my life and become a better version of myself …
My weekly recap is what keeping me writing these days 😀
How are you feeling in the last stretch of your pregnancy ???

      1. Ready to have this baby! Haha. We only have 14 weeks left!!! I know what you mean about your life being somewhere else right now and that’s a GOOD thing. It means your life, your money and your blog are going to be more for you and less about other people and what you can review for them. I’m still all about the palettes but even then so many of the ones being released right now bore me. As for everything else, I just don’t need that much shit! Have you watched any project panning videos!?? You might enjoy them!

  2. All of the make-up looks amazing, but that peanut butter just sounds yummy! I really wish those fancy nut butters would make the jump across the pond, as they haven’t arrived in Europe yet but I love them so much.
