AG|HAIR (CURL) RE:Coil Shampoo + Conditioner

AG|Hair RE:COIL Shampoo & Conditionner

First and foremost, depending if your are reading my posts on your Desktop, Phone or Tablet, take a look at my photo… Then, read this product’s name… Easy to see that I am the best candidate to test AG|Hair Curly Holiday Hair Vibes.

For years, I’ve talked about my untameable curly mop that drives me crazy. To be honest, I gave up on achieving any kind of stylish hairstyle and opted for the perpetual 360 days messy bun (No joking)! The five days remaining are when I come out of the beauty salon but still, my coiffeur is pulling so hard to make them straight, my neck hurts!

So when the packaging claimed “Enhance Your Holiday Curls With Bounce And Definition”, I said: “Bring it on”! I mean, “PLEASE, bring it on”… This girl is desperate!

“We pride ourselves on our meticulous selection of natural ingredients, ensuring they are gentle on hair but that they also deliver results. If we don’t believe in the integrity of the ingredient, simply put, we won’t use it. Which is why we leave out common ingredients like salt, paba, parabens and DEA.

Hair care and innovation are our passions. With 27 years of experience, we understand the complexity and intricacies of different hair types and our labs are constantly researching new solutions that both work and are good for your hair.”

AG|Hair RE:COIL Shampoo & Conditionner Review

Trade Secrets | Glamour Secrets, Shampoo & Conditioner are $22Cnd each.

AG|Hair RE:COIL Shampoo

♥ It smells SO good! It’s reminiscent of those orange popsicle from our younger years…

♥ The shampoo is Sulfate, Paraben and Salt-Free. Sulfate is so drying on my curly hair, a Sulfate-Free Shampoo is a must to keep some moisture in my hair. Also, a sulfate-free product doesn’t burn when you unfortunately get some shampoo in your eyes – Trust me, ouch!

♥ This shampoo makes my hair and scalp squeaky clean and it may sound weird but some shampoos don’t do that great of a job at cleaning your scalp.

AG|Hair RE:COIL Conditionner

♥ The conditioner has the same mind-blowing scent!

♥Combining both products makes it so easy to detangled my hair afterwards. Again, you would think that every conditioner on the market works the same but some products (that should stay nameless) take half of my hair off when I comb after my shower (It’s a miracle I’m not bald).

Note: You should see BeardMan picking up those tangled tumbleweeds. He always says: “Look, found a hamster in the shower”!

♥ Contains keratin which is a protein naturally found in the flat cells of our hair — it helps keeping them strong, elastic and healthy!

♥ These two hair products are made in Canada and Cruelty-free.

♥ Pricier since it’s salon quality!

I’m crazy in love with this RE:Coil duo Shampoo and Conditioner. First, it smells out-of-this-world good… It’s so important to me. I have an aversion to those very floral aromas or when my hair products don’t smell at all. Even if they gave me supermodel hair, I won’t used them. But AG HairCare’s smell brings this addictive orange candy scent, evocative of my childhood. This shampoo also contains infused Tomato extracts (great sources of Vitamin A, B, C, and E, essential for healthy hair, prevents hair loss and brings radiance to and elasticity for dry hair) and Rice Amino Acids (source of inositol great to repair hair damages), making it a very natural and delicate product for your scalp and hair regimen!

As for the curl part, I was so pleased to see a difference when I blow dry my hair with my diffuser (a curly gal BFF): my hair curls showed an increased definition and they look healthier. I frankly can’t wait to try the curl activator and curl trigger (already in my cart) for the added definition. I may have find a brand that is cruelty-free with a product line made for us, curly girls… I abandoned the messy bun look twice this week, and even Beardman is starting to believe in  miracles! Very proud of this Canadian Company that is still making their products here, in Canada and who is giving back and supporting a lot of charities!

Bonus: My hair stays fresh at least a day more than it used to, which is a big plus!

Psst! Great quality hair products do make some great Christmas presents!

  1. Lately, I have been totally into trying new hair products. I used to be like ….. OK Kerastase. Oh … not Kerastase, then no.. no can do. But I have totally branched out and tried everything from high end shampoos new to the market to Aussie products which have literally been around for over 25 years. And I have found a ton of great stuff. For me, I’m always looking for a product that can allow me to wear my hair naturally curly without looking like I was electrocuted. So, I will try this one too!! I haven’t heard of it but that’s even better. Something super new for me!

  2. I’ve read SO much about the AG Hair Re:Coil and it’s constantly on my “to try” list. I almost bought the styling cream last month because it was 10% off. It’s still so pricey though… but, very interesting that they’re a Canadian brand. I had no idea!
I’d probably not get the shampoo / conditioner but rather the curl cream. I need it to tame the frizz. 😛
