After three months, we are reaching our final destination: this is the last product review of Project Pan 2016 Fall Edition. The recap of the whole project will be next Wednesday, November 30th.
As always, be sure to look at my Blogging partners in this PP12: Stashy (StashMatters), Jodi (ABrashAttitude) and Chanelle (Chanelle Hayley). This week’s featured product is the now empty and oh! so good Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer.
A performance-driven moisturizer rich in corrective nutrients. Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturizer helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while providing antioxidant protection. The powers of ALA, DMAE, and vitamin C ester combine to impart a nourished, hydrated, glowing complexion.
At Sephora : $95Cnd ($75US) for 2oz
♥ Undoubtedly, the best moisturizer to prep my skin before applying my makeup (it acts like a primer),
♥ The product sinks in beautifully; no greasy feeling whatsoever and the final result is a perfect silky skin,
♥ Helps blurring my pores,
♥ Surprisingly lightweight and didn’t cause any breakouts,
♥ This moisturizer seals my nightly serum and/or essence, and I wake up with the softest skin ever,
♥ According to Paula’s Choice, the brand is cruelty-free.
♥ It’s heavily fragranced! Don’t get me wrong, the Rose perfume is beautiful but I prefer unscented face products,
♥ It comes in a jar; I personally don’t mind since I’m the only one using it but I wished, for hygienic reasons, that it would be available in a pump,
♥ You do have to let the product sink completely in the morning otherwise your foundation will be disturbed! I now use Perricone MD Photo Plasma during the day and the Finishing Moisturizing at night…
♥ Pricey… (but so worth it),
♥ Best suited for dry to combination skin, oily skin wouldn’t like it (I think),
♥ It blends really well but you need a certain amount of product; my first 2oz lasted only 4 months! At the time, I was using it AM and PM though…
Such a solid moisturizer! Without any hesitation, one of the best I’ve tried. Unbeatable to seal my nightly treatments without leaving my skin overly greasy! Pricey indeed but considering it also acts as the most beautiful primer, the price is not that bad. If you are sensible to fragrance, stay away from this product as the Rose perfume is a little overwhelming.
Will I repurchase: YES! I’m rating this product 9/10. Perricone MD products never disappoint! I had to restrain myself in the last VIB Sale because I would have bought The Plasma Essentials collection (4 products for both face and eyes). Unfortunately, I need to test and finish so many other products, I’ll have to wait some more to get new items, but as far as this product goes, I’ll be buying this Finishing Moisturizer again and again … and again!
This part will be featured in the big recap, on Wednesday’s post!
Have a beautiful week my beauties!
