♥A Month at Curly Spring Blossom♥
♥ No-Buy Recap…♥
I’m very proud to say that I haven’t spent one dime (0 dollar) on beauty products in January. Of course, there are items I would have liked to try, but seriously, it wasn’t that bad. I’m enjoying my favourite collections and rediscovering a few that somehow were forgotten while I was more into buying than “makeuping”. Of course, doing the biggest purge ever also made me question my purchase habits. I HATE throwing money in the garbage, and I’ve just put thousands (Yes, you read right, THOUSANDS) in the trash in January. I now solemnly swear that I will NEVER consume that much and go back to my yesteryears. I’m still a beauty junkie, but nowadays, I prefer looking instead of buying every new releases.
I now live by this simple phrase: “need instead of want”. Thinking before grabbing something is just enough to keep me at bay. However, truth be told, I wasn’t as good with my clothing spending in January. I bought 4 winter coats and a few base layers for my day-to-day activities. The coats were a necessity since I don’t fit in all my small sized super winter coats and for the undergarments, BeardMan was getting tired of me stealing every one he possessed. Thinking about it, I went from one obsession to another, but what can I say 😉
♥ New Products added to my Wishlist…♥
RMS Beauty Tinted “Un” Powder
I love RMS products and when my beloved Laura Mercier Translucent Powder will be finished, I would like to try this cruelty-free one.
Sephora Collection PRO Airbrush Blender #78 & PRO Core Diffuser Angled #95
Last year, I bought at least 10 Sephora Collection Pro Brushes and I’m in love with all of them. I really think that they are reasonably priced for such a good quality. These two are definitely on my radar. On the other hand, Sephora just launched double-ended brushes and am I the only one who hate them for the simple reason that it’s hard to store them while one end gets all messy?
May Coop Raw Sauce
An essence with maple tree sap, what’s not to like. Being Canadian, we do love our maple stuff. The reviews are so good that I need to try it at some point.
Viseart Neutral Warm Matte
This baby will be mine (one of these days). I don’t have an equivalent assortment of very warm neutral shadows in my collection (I swear I don’t…, well I think I don’t). I want it, I want it …
Have a beautiful Sunday my beauties!
