My Weekly Love List

♥ My Favorite New Products of the Week ♥

Nudestick Nude(art)ist Magnetic Eye Box Set $65Cnd (value $168Cnd)

If like myself you like Nudestick Magnetic Eye Color then, this set will pick your interest; it’s surely on my radar. These shadow sticks are all available in neutral, very wearable colors! The formula is amazing too…

Nude(art)ist Magnetic Eye Box Set

Stila Naturally Nude Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Set $26Cnd

In general, I’m not a fan of liquid lipstick but there are some exceptions out there, and Stila Stay All Day are one of them. The colors included in this set are sublime!

Naturally Nude Stay All Day® Liquid Lipstick Set

Burberry Runway Palette $72Cnd

On a purely aesthetic note, how beautiful is that compact? Personally, I wouldn’t buy it since I’m not the biggest fan of Burberry’s makeup line, but I surely can appreciate beauty when I see it!

♥ My Favorite Pictures of the Week ♥

Ok, they may be my favorite photos because I took them but it was such a beautiful morning with the trees in autumn colors, the fog across the bridges, a clear blue sky… Splendid if I may say so myself! Imagine in a couple of months with the snow, the iced river.. Yuk!!!

Quebec City Fog

♥ My Favorite Song of the Week ♥

Million Reasons

I’ll probably never spend a dime to buy Lady Gaga’s songs or albums, but her newest single is so beautiful (I listen to it in loops). I saw her at the Quebec summer festival two years ago and her voice is impressive to say the least. Her style not so much but who am I to judge…

♥ My Deception of the Week ♥

Once Upon A Time Season 5

Am I the only one disappointed about Once Upon A Time Season 5? I feel like the authors rack their brains too much for new twists and turns and the decors look like cheap cardboards… When I started to watch this TV show, I was touched by all our beloved Disney characters appearing and our classic childhood stories, but now, it’s just a dull tale with dull actors!!!  I still watch it (on Netflix) but after every episode I say to Beardman: “Aww! it’s not the best season…”

Have a beautiful Sunday my beauties!

Bio-Oil ✰ Project Pan 12 Fall 2016

Project Pan 12 Fall 2016

Welcome to Week 4 (already 1 month, unbelievable how time flies) of our Project Pan 12 Fall 2016 Edition. As usual, the knowledgeable Stashy (StashMatters), the cruelty-free Queen Jodi (ABrashAttitude) and the lovely Chanelle (Chanelle Hayley) are also collaborating in this project!

This week’s feature product is Bio-Oil PurCellin Oil! Used it continuously for the last 4 weeks for body and face, but with very different outcomes …

Bio Oil Review

Availability:

Nearly every drugstores and big retail chains

Pros:

♥ Easy to find,

♥  Very moisturizing,

♥ Very mild and delicate scent.

Bio Oil Review

Cons:

♥ Broke me out the two times I’ve applied it on my face,

♥ The “supposed breakthrough ingredient”, known as PurCellin oil, is derived from ducks (it’s the substance ducks secrete to keep their feathers waterproof – gross)!!

♥ Take at least half an hour to dry.

♥♥ Update: The last two days, I’ve had some allergic reactions with this product. I’ve seen some small bumps on my skin, and I’ve had some itchiness all over my body !

Note: Unfortunately, since it broke me out in my first week, I can’t validate the company advertised claim that this oil is good for uneven skin tone and is anti-aging.

Will I repurchase? NEVER (A Huge NO). Allergic reactions added with pimples and acne on my skin = a new oil, great for anti-aging and to moisturize my garbage bags…

Project Recap…

I was certain that at the end of September, I would have finish a couple of products, but I was wrong… I’m really surprised at how long it takes to actually finish products. Oh! well at the end of October, I should have emptied at least half of my eleven products (wishful thinking!), since one has been emptied in my garbage can😜…

🍁Don’t forget to go have a look at week 4 of Stashy (StashMatters), Jodi (ABrashAttitude) and Chanelle (Chanelle Hayley)
